I’ve been a licensed pharmacist in California since obtaining my Pharm.D. degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 1997. My pharmacy experience is almost exclusively hospital based totaling nine years of inpatient pharmacy, including a couple of years as a pediatric pharmacist and five years of critical care medicine.
My areas of interest include: pharmacy technology and automation, mobile health care, ehealth, personal health records, Web 2.0 technologies, social media and project management. Included in these interests is a healthy curiosity of how to best use these technologies to improve pharmacy and create a more patient centric practice model. My interests in technology, coupled with my pharmacy background create a natural fit for me in my position as an IT Pharmacist.
