I received an email recently announcing the availability of a free Micromedex Drug Information application for the iPhone.

I don’t often use Micromedex, but the mobile application for the iPhone has a nice user interface and all the essential information you’d expect to find in a drug information resource. I know Thompson Reuters made a big push last year to bring Micromedex in line with other high powered pharmacy references like Lexi-Comp, and developing a mobile version of the application is a big step in the right direction; not to mention that it’s free.
I’ve included some screen shots below taken off my iPhone and a brief video for your enjoyment.
